About Us - Our Leadership
Jim Anderson
Jim Anderson brings extensive corporate leadership and consulting experience to his assignments. He was a general manager and human resources executive before starting his consulting career. Jim has worked with businesses in a variety of industries and companies, from startups to Fortune 500 organizations.
Jim's consulting engagements have been in the areas of leadership and team development, organization effectiveness, strategic and operational planning, and change management. A skilled executive coach and facilitator, he has worked on a variety of organization-wide, team, and individual assignments.
Before joining Corporate Performance Strategies, Jim was a Vice President and Senior Consultant with Manchester, a national consulting firm specializing in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and change management. At Manchester, Jim worked with executives and managers one-on-one and with teams to improve performance by defining, planning and implementing changes. In addition, Jim was responsible for training new consultants.
Prior to joining Manchester, Jim was a Vice President and Senior Consultant with the Turknett Leadership Group, a regional consulting firm specializing in individual and organizational change management. Jim worked with executives and managers one-on-one and with teams to improve performance and results by defining, planning and implementing change.
Jim gained his corporate experience in the financial services industry with Wachovia Corporation, Texas Commerce Bank, Providian Corporation, and Security Life of Denver. He held senior line and staff positions in human resources, lending, operations, and corporate finance, including the positions of Controller and Chief Administrative Officer.
Jim received an MBA in Finance from Harvard Business School, where he was a Loomis-Sayles Fellow. He received his BS from Michigan Technological University, Phi Kappa Phi. He is also a graduate of The Stonier Graduate School of Banking. An ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate, Mr. Anderson served two years in the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
