CPS partnered with the company as they evaluated and acquired diverse global companies from 700 to 15,000 employees. A $3B consumer products company needed to improve the effectiveness of their leadership, identify future leaders, and improve their bench strength. We partnered with the leadership team and implemented a succession planning process and system for developing leaders. We helped with identification of future leaders, prepared future leaders, and improved senior leadership effectiveness.
Corporate Performance Strategies was asked to provide interim HR leadership for Lucent’s fiber optic division in the process of being sold to Furukawa Electric and to help the new owners successfully integrate the new company. We supplied the HR leader consultant and successfully transitioned the company to the new owners. Results were key talent retention (i.e., Bell Labs), improved HR effectiveness and efficiency, development of executive compensation, sales compensation, short-term incentive plans, and employee benefits.
Platinum Equity acquired a Healthcare Marketing Systems (now Advogent) from Cardinal Health and required rapid integration (60 days) and separation from the seller to reduce costs and be able to implement a restructuring plan. Corporate Performance Strategies assumed the lead HR integration role working with the Platinum integration team. The integration was on time and we reduced substantial costs in the HR structure, headcount and programs.
