Platinum Equity acquired a Healthcare Marketing Systems (now Advogent) from Cardinal Health and required rapid integration (60 days) and separation from the seller to reduce costs and be able to implement a restructuring plan. Corporate Performance Strategies assumed the lead HR integration role working with the Platinum integration team. The integration was on time and we reduced substantial costs in the HR structure, headcount and programs.
Situation
Advogent has approximately 1,000 employees dispersed throughout the US headquartered in New Jersey. Platinum Equity purchased Healthcare Marketing Systems (now Advogent) from Cardinal Health. HMS is a leading provider of sales and marketing services for pharma companies. The organization had a tight timeframe to implement a comprehensive HR and Payroll function – 60 days.
Solutions
CPS was hired to provide overall team leadership and project management for the HR and Payroll transition. Developed standalone HR and Payroll functions and facilitated migration from the existing corporate systems. CPS provided overall leadership and direction to a multi-function transition team that included ADP as the service provider. CPS served as an internal advocate and supporter for ADP through a challenging business conversion.
